Removes Excess Sebum
One of the most notable species of microorganisms found on the scalp is the Malassezia species, a form of yeast fungi that grows on hair follicles and causes dandruff. Although Malassezia naturally occurs on the scalp in a healthy and balanced microbe, an overproduction of sebum gives this type of yeast the ‘perfect environment’ to flourish and grow, causing a disruption in the scalp’s intricate microbiome, resulting in dandruff, itching, irritation, and flaking.

Bentonite clay works very quickly to draw out toxins and heavy metals from your hair.

Neem has anti-fungal properties; it effectively helps get rid of dandruff causing fungi.

Activated charcoal treats your scalp to a deep clean, reducing redness, minimising dandruff, and relieving dry, itchy skin.

How to use

• No need to use shampoo before or after using the scalp mask

• Use on dry unclean scalp (since the scalp mask is cleansing and purifying.)

• You can use the scalp rub before for a more supremely clean refreshed scalp treatment.

• Mix 1 tablespoon of Scalp Mask powder or more with 1 tablespoon or more of pure water/ hydrolat water to make a smooth paste.

• General rule is equal parts of clay to water

• If the mixture is too thin, add more powder, if too thick, add more water.

• Use a brush to apply a thick layer of the clay treatment on scalp.

• Leave on for 15-20 mins until dry.
• Wash off and dry.

• Can also be used as an overnight treatment to target problem areas.

• You can condition the hair if desired.

• Moisturise scalp with nourishing oils or use the Scalp Oil.

• For best results use 1-3 times weekly
